The lightning-strike counter, is an electro-mechanical device whose function is to count each lightning event that occurs in the system where it is installed. This device is protected inside a shield, whose main function is to protect against inclement weather such as water, dust, UV rays, electromagnetic (to fulfill the principle of electromagnetic induction Michael Faraday or commonly called "Faraday's law") interference, etc. It has a mechanical display which lists the number of surveyed impacts, an upper inlet for connection and a lower outlet for grounding.
